These international agreements define the objectives as well as commitments and their monitoring in the realm of international climate action. Membership is almost universal. SDC actively participates in the climate change negotiations, with a focus on loss and damage, a topic at the nexus of climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction and humanitarian aid. ​
