In 2018, the SDC has launched its VSD program in Mozambique. It is currently in its entry phase.

The main goal of the Training for Skills and Employment (T4SE) project is to create work opportunities for rural youth by strenghtening their professional skills as well as advocating for an improved legal framework for technical, covational and entrepreneurship training in the country. SDCs contribution aims to support training provision through engaging with the private sector, which will allow young people to aquire marketable skills leading to formal or self-employement and consequently increased productivity.
