Monitoring and Evaluation for Jobs Projects - World Bank Toolkit
The Jobs Group of the World Bank Group has developed a Jobs Monitoring and Evaluation Toolkit. The Toolkit provides project teams a package of resources to standardize the assessment of jobs outcomes, and is accessible as paper or interactive version on the Jobs and Development website
here
(online) and
here
(download).
At the core of the Toolkit is a ‘Menu’ of Jobs Indicators, from which project teams can select. It includes indicators to measure results for individual and firm beneficiaries along the dimensions of job creation, job quality and job access. For each indicator, the Toolkit includes guidance on when to use the indicator, World Bank project examples, and standard indicator definitions. The Toolkit further includes short data collection forms and data collection manuals.
