Private Sector Engagement in Migration Topic Profile Page

Private sector actors play an increasingly important role in addressing migration related challenges and in harnessing the benefits of migration. They act as service providers, as employers and job creators for migrants and forcibly displaced persons, support governments in governing migration and have important leverage in influencing migration-related policies. Mapping private sector engagement along the migration cycle

The private sector plays an important role in achieving development outcomes. This SDC supported study maps the interaction between the private sector and migration. It identifies the roles of the different state and non-state actors when the private sector is interacting with migrants and refugees along the migration cycle.
