The Network is primarily composed of:
1. Migration Core Group (closed group): Thematic Regional Advisors in the SDC geographic divisions and migration focal points within the thematic and the multilateral division of SDC are part of the Migration Core Group. The Core Group members steer the overall Network activities, support the further anchoring of the topic in their respective units and bring their policy and operational perspectives into the Network.
2. Community of Practice (CoP) that are formed around four thematic Workstreams (closed group):Workstream 1: Environmentally induced migration and displacementWorkstream 2: Financial inclusion of migrants and forcibly displaced personsWorkstream 3: Durable solutions to forced displacementWorkstream 4: Children in the context of labour migration
The members of these CoPs are primarily staff from SDC and the Swiss Federal Administration interested in the topics.
3. Larger Practitioners-Network: Any practitioner is invited to become member of the Network. Members can benefit and contribute to interesting features such as newsletters, newsbriefs, network discussions and connect to others in the migration community. The Migration and Forced Displacement Section, more specifically Stela Haxhi as the SDC Migration Focal Point is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Network activities.
