At the joint Gender and CHR net face-to-face in June 2016 the new SDC report on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) was launched. SDC supports programmes in 12 countries to prevent and eliminate SGBV with a budget of 10 Mio Swiss Francs per year (Afghanistan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lebanon, Myanmar, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Rwanda and Tadjikistan). The new report gives an overview of the variety of activities in the different contexts. Focus of the work is i.a.
