Sustainable Agriculture Support in Albania (SASA)
The project aims at improving the economic situation of the rural population using a VCD approach, with the Participatory Market Chain Approach (PMCA) being the main methodological tool. SASA promotes commercial, technological and institutional innovations, all contributing to take advantage of existing and new market opportunities in the segment of quality production, including organic and regional products with corresponding labels. The project is implemented in Tirana, Durrës, Lushnja regions and Northern Albania by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL.

Armenia
Livestock development in in Syunik Region
Applying an M4P approach, the overall project objective is the strengthening of the livestock sector and the increase of income opportunities for farmers, focusing on the dairy and meat value chains. The focal area of the intervention is Syunik Marz in the rural Southeast of Armenia. The project is implemented by the Armenian NGO, Strategic Development Agency (SDA).

Market Alliances against Poverty
The project follows an M4P approach and aims at strengthening the value chain for dairy and meat products, improving the quality of milk and increase production. Small livestock producers are expected to improve access to markets, information, services and technologies and increase their incomes. The project is implemented in Samtskhe-Javakheti Region by Mercy Corps International and local sub-contracting partners.
