Private Sector-Led Rural Growth

This project applies an M4P approach with focus on public private development partnerships (PPDPs) with formal value chain actors to leverage investment and commercial activity in pro-poor expansion of value chains, namely soya and pulses. The project will concentrate in the North of Mozambique and specifically on the Nampulaand Cabo Delgado Provinces (Nacala Corridor). Following a six-month pilot phase, the three-year implementation phase began in January 2011 and is done by ECIAfrica.
