We are proud to present you our brand new VSD project typology tool. The paper aims to help SDC operations to clearly define the approach and orientation of their VSD interventions, to select the right partners, and thus to manage their Project (Portfolio) in line with the relevant SDC strategies, the policy goals of partner countries, and professional standards.
On 4 th September 2017, SDC hosted an event to present and discuss the book “Exportartikel Berufsbildung?” (Export Article VET?) with the authors Markus Maurer, Matthias Jaeger and Martin Faessler (cf. photo left). The book is a highly recommended standard work for VSD professionals.SDC Director Ambassador Manuel Sager introduced the event by highlighting the importance of vocational skills development (VSD) as one of the priority topics of Swiss development cooperation together with basic education. We published our very first quantitative analysis of the SDC's VSD project portfolio. We heavily relied on our e+i portfolio database for that. Thanks a lot to our community for keeping us updated about the projects.
