Accounting for Forest and Other Land Use Projects

Thematic FocusThe course introduces, step-by-step, the GHG accounting methods utilized in forest-carbon projects, including afforestation/reforestation (A/R), improved forest management (IFM), and reduced emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+). Based on ISO 14064-2 and WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol for Projects, this course provides the background necessary to understand forest emission monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV).
