The Global Compact for safe, orderly and regular Migration and Global Compact on Refugees are moving forward. But what are the implications for Swiss Policies? And what is the role and what are actions that civil society could take to influence their implementation? Mdplatform.ch members met on October 4th 2018 in Bern to discuss these questions, exchange about the achievements and challenges of both Global Compacts and find out what Civil Society can do to engage meaningfully in this process, particularly as we move towards the adoption conference in Marrakesh. As a follow up to the event - mdplatform is elaborating arguments  for Swiss CSO in response to the political discussions around the  adoption of GCM.
