What is the SDC Aid Effectiveness Network?

About the Aid Effectiveness Network

The SDC and SECO Aid Effectiveness Network (AEnet) is constituted of development practitioners from diverse SDC and SECO units – at Head Office and in Country Offices - engaged in furthering the Aid Effectiveness and Development Effectiveness Agenda. It is open to interested persons and organisations from outside SDC.

The AEnet understands itself as a Community of Practice (COP) sharing information and experiences, learning from each other, and translating Aid Effectiveness commitments into SDC's procedures and approaches.

Moreover, the SDC-AEnet provides advice to the SDC and SECO Management on matters related to Aid Effectiveness.

You'll find here information on the activities of the AEnet and the SDC Focal Point Aid Effectiveness as well as useful documents and links on Effective Development Cooperation in general.

Membership of AEnet is open to all interested or nominated field or HQ staff from SDC and SECO.
