Online training on 'Leave no one behind - Challenges and opportunities of implementation'

3 May to 7 June​​ 2022 

 

Leave no one behind (LNOB) is a key underlying principle of the 2030 Agenda. However, its implementation presents major challenges. The online training will shed some light on how to apply LNOB in practice. Main focus of the training will be on peer-learning, concrete tools and good practices. Participants are invited to bring in their own challenges from their working context. Furthermore, experts will provide technical input and enter into dialogue with participants. A facilitation team will accompany and support participants throughout the online training. The training will be conducted on behalf of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Academy for International Cooperation of GIZ (AIZ).

For whom:

The course is designed and open for international and national GIZ staff, development practitioners representing bilateral and multilateral donor institutions as well as NGOs or national and local partner institutions.

What is it about:

Over the course of 6 weeks, the training will cover a broad range of topics and will equip participants with useful tools and materials. The combination of participants' experience from their local backgrounds and the trainers' practical and policy expertise provides a fruitful learning environment.

When will it take place:

The training will take place from 3 May to 7 June 2022. All sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST, except the longer kick-off session on 3 May which will take place from 10:00 to 13:30 CEST.

What does it cost? 

The online training is offered for 1,130 Euro for GIZ staff and 1,310 Euro for external participants.
