The Report on Effectiveness on the Swiss international cooperation in the field of gender equality 2007-2016 investigated projects and policy dialogue engagements of SDC in the past 10 years. The report showed a positive trend over these years towards more transformative gender results. However, the study also found some persistent challenges and worked out substantial recommendations for SDC’s work in the area.
The status report on gender equality 2017 was produced for the first time and will from now on be an annual report. This report is aimed at monitoring progress towards the strategic goal 7 and at making gender results more visible and accountable. It provides different project examples and their respective gender results. It also represents an analysis of the financial commitments, which are based on the gender policy marker.
