This page informs about ongoing work on how to mainstream SDC's two transversal themes, gender and governance, into the M4P framework. Taking account of these transversal themes is a challenge for many M4P projects. Often, the projects do not pay sufficient attention to constraints related to gender and governance issues. SDC's e+i network is therefore undertaking efforts to provide guidance on how to address the integration of transversal themes when designing a project, during its implementation and in the M&E system.
