Mid-Term Review: ‘Strengthening Social Accountability and Oversight in Health and Agriculture in Southern Africa’ project

SDC is looking for a consultant for the Mid-Term Review of the ‘Strengthening Social Accountability and Oversight in Health and Agriculture in Southern Africa’ project.

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through its Southern Africa Regional Program awarded a tender in 2015 to a consortium of organisations to develop and implement a regional project supporting the improvement of rights-based public resources management (PRM) in health and agriculture. Aspirations were for strengthening the oversight and social accountability roles of selected parliamentary committees, issue-based civil society organisations, smallholder farmers’ organisations, media and relevant government departments in seven countries of Southern Africa. The overall project spans three phases over a 10-year period.

The midterm review (MTR) of the second phase will assess the project performance against its intended goals and objectives in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe (up to the mid of the second phase) as well as offer evidence that will shape the program moving forward.
