Dear Madam / SirDear colleagues
Peacebuilding, development and humanitarian interventions are often accompanied by risks. How can we avoid an aggravation of the conflict? How can volatile environments be taken into account? The conflict sensitivity training organized by swisspeace in collaboration with the University of Basel addresses these questions and provides you with:• an understanding of the concept and aim of conflict sensitivity • practical tools for applying conflict sensitivity in strategic and operational aspects of program management • awareness of institutional and individual capacities for effective implementation of conflict sensitivity • a conflict sensitive approach that systematically includes positive and negative impacts of interventions.
The training is held by practitioners experienced in conflict sensitive project management, evaluation and impact assessment. It takes place from 6-8 June 2018 in Basel. Are you interested? Applications close on 31 March 2018. The number of participants is limited, so make sure you sign up soon. For more information on the course, please visit our website: Conflict Sensitivity Training or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.Best wishes,
