Who we are

Focal Points

Bruce Campbell, Senior Policy Advisor, SDC
A member of SDC’s Food Systems Section, Bruce is the Focal Point for the Agriculture and Food Systems Network. In his current function, he is also a GDPRD board member and has a portfolio of projects relating to private sector engagement and biodiversity. With a background in rural engineering, international cooperation and a PhD in conflict transformation, Bruce has spent time working in rural development, water resource management and humanitarian aid, and was most recently posted to the Swiss Permanent Mission to the UN Organisations in Rome.

Stéphanie Piers de Raveschoot, Programme Officer, SDC
Part of the SDC Food Systems section, Stephanie is the co-focal point for the Agriculture & Food Systems Network, the focal point for Switzerland for the UNCCD, and manages a portfolio of projects related to agroecology, natural resources management and agricultural research. Environmental engineer by training, specialised in water and natural resources management, Stephanie multiplied experiences between engineering work in Switzerland, development consultancy in Southern Africa, and a humanitarian stint in Haiti before joining SDC in 2015

Network support

Héloïse Bellenot, Academic Trainee, SDC
Lara SponagelHéloïse has been working as an academic trainee for the SDC’s Food systems and Health sections since February 2024. She maintains the shareweb as well as the network and is responsible for the newsletter. During her Master’s degree in Asian studies (at the University of Geneva), she focused on agroecology and rural development. This included conducting field research in South India and completing an internship in an NGO in North India, where she gained valuable insights into the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. She has also worked on international issues and multilateralism as a research assistant at the Albert Hirschman Center for Democracy at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID).

Felix Hintermann, Scientific Collaborator, Bern University of Applied Sciences - School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences HAFL
Felix Hintermann works at BFH-HAFL in information and communication projects in the national and international context. Felix is the contact person of the team of external A&FS Network facilitators, and he is responsible for the A&FS Shareweb, for co-publishing the Newsletter, and for member and general communication support. He holds an MA in History, Geography & State Law and completed further training in web publishing and marketing communication.
